Ericksonian Hypnosis Declined

Everyone knows that the type of hypnosis that Milton Erickson developed is a wonderful thing.

Yet, since when did Ericksonian Hypnosis become a part of The Art of Influence and Persuasion? How exactly did a form of therapy get turned into the best form of Mind Control the world has ever seen?

Well, it all goes back to the official birth of the male seduction community. One man thought he came up with the brilliant idea of trying to adapt the forms of Ericksonian Hypnosis to seduce women. The basic idea was to use the Ericksonian language patterns that were used to hypnotize people in clinical setting to hypnotize women for the purposes of seduction.

As everybody knows, this concept of using therapeutic hypnosis to seduce women failed, but this doesn’t mean that a HUGE fad didn’t begin. Hundreds upon hundreds of certified Ericksonian Hypnotist came out of the work work with all kinds of “secrets” that anyone could use to get anyone to do anything.

This shift in the mind control industry led to the invention of several other styles of hypnosis that were called “conversational” or “covert”. Yet no matter how these new styles of hypnosis were entitled, they simply didn’t enable anyone to control anyone’s mind.

Why is this true? Because the hypnosis that Milton Erickson invented in a clinical setting requires a clinical setting to survive in. If you take a shark out of the ocean, what happens? The same thing occurs when Ericksonian is removed from its clinical context–it’s dead.

It’s also too bad that there are hypnotist out there who are greedy for money to the extent that they have “sold their souls” just to make gobs of money by repackaging Ericksonian Hypnosis into a manipulation machine that it was never intended to be in the first place.

So the male seduction community doesn’t use language patterns anymore because the men who attempted to do so became a laughing stock. The attempt to use Ericksonian Hypnosis outside of a clinical setting was a complete failure.

The successful forms of seduction, mind control, and persuasion revolve around social strategies and the advanced comprehension of language patterns.
